10th October 2004 Windsurfing: oxwich bay Wind Direction: east Wind Stength: 18+ Surf / Sea State: swell , small waves Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: gave yesterday a miss and went trail riding instead with the local Big Girls, while all the die-hards went to Newton in the chop , so all who would listen the benifit of my wisdom and arranged a drive over to Oxwich , so much better in east winds , Myself,Nobby ,del-boy and Jones the teeth went over and where rewarded with a great afternoons sailing in cross on winds with some small waves running in , all nicely powered with 5m and wave boards , bit of the wrong tack for big jumps but about the best your gona get this way in an eastly. |
